OUR PURPOSE
The Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization is dedicated to empowering young women in our community through education, leadership, and service. Our mission is to provide opportunities for personal growth, academic achievement, and the development of leadership skills. We aim to inspire confidence, foster a commitment to community service, and encourage lifelong learning. Through scholarships and mentorship, we support the educational and career aspirations of young women, preparing them to be the leaders of tomorrow while promoting values of integrity, compassion, and civic responsibility.
OUR MISSION
The Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization is a premier provider of scholarships and opportunities for young women aged 13-28 in the Spokane community. Through the Miss Spokane and Miss Spokane’s Teen competitions, we bring together people from across the region to celebrate the achievements of local titleholders as they compete for scholarships, cash awards, sponsorships, and the chance to advance to the Miss Washington and Miss America’s Teen competitions.
We also offer a mentorship program for girls aged 5-12, which serves as a local chapter of the Miss America’s Little Sisters program. Through mentorship, community service, and stage performance opportunities, these young participants are introduced to personal development and empowerment, guided by Teen and Miss titleholders.
